We spend a lot of time going back and forth between France and England. Seeing the same boats and ports again and again might not seem very inspiring but there are often interesting details to observe and sometimes to photograph.
We came across form Poole on the morning of Friday 8th, a day of indifferent weather in the channel. At one point I happened to look out to see a very fine rainbow. That deserved a snap.
The secondary is just visible and it is clear that there is no neat end to the primary rainbow - no place for a crock of gold. It would have sunk anyway!
