Back Home

With, temporarily, no home in England we sailed back to Normandy on Thursday.

For a week we had stayed in Bristol. During that time we got out and about a bit, as weather permitted. A quick visit last Wednesday to three noted churches in Bristol produced a wealth of images which will result (soon) in yet another Blurb book. None of these  pictures has yet been added to the site - we need to think about them for a little longer. However the Thursday afternoon crossing back to Ouistreham produced a few pleasing visual images so I have added another three photos to Trans Manche. This time I have rendered them in B & W.

The sea was very calm so I had no particular interest in looking for the life rafts.

Today it is cold but sunny. It would be tempting to go out taking pictures but I have still a lot to print if I am ever to complete my 'England' book. I look forward to milder, if wetter, weather when I can go back into the darkroom.
